P.S. I feel like a giant Richardhead
This is me right about now
Have you tested Ca in fresh mixed saltwater? We had several bad buckets of RC early this year. I dosed and dosed and dosed and still couldn't maintain Ca and Mg. Turns out every time I did a water changed, it dropped again. I've heard several people had the problem.
If you kept Ca around 350 to 380 it would be fine for what you have. Just my opinion though.
water change, water change, water change. it always does good replaceing all that. reef crystals or, red sea. i feed three times a week and friday i feed well. saterday i change 10 %. the next day my coral looks awsome
As far as I know, Salifert is the only manufacturer that makes a test kit that is able to detect all naturally occuring forms of iodine/iodide.
Too late for Salifert.
Here's the plan. I am going to stop dosing Ca and Iodine for a while. I will continue to add Kent Essential elements every 2 weeks. I will test my water every 3-4 days in the beginning and see if it all goes well.
That's a way! This way you will be able to know what your tank will consume in a period of time.
It has been about a week and I have NOT added anything. Here are the #s.
The Temp is 77, pH = 8 and the Salinity is 1.023
Does chaetos use Mag up?
