So the power went out for a few minutes and then when my halide switched back on, it didnt have time to cool....... So i walk into the room like 15 minutes later and it smells like burned hair :(

Im afraid my bulb may have shifted spectrum or something bad from this. (i know its the bulb and not the ballast)

Gotta put a delay on the Reef Angel for next time ;)

doesn't ballast wait for it to cool down first? my ballast won't start it until it cools. whether it can't or is designed not to I don't know. But 15 mins should be enough time for cool down.

    I call power surge damage
