Who recharges GFO

    I have heard it can be done and am currently saving up used gfo to try it once I get enough built up.
    Anyone else do this? Apparently it's MUCH cheaper than constantly buying new GFO

    GFO pulverizes as it ages so you end up with small grains and dust over time.
    In the drinking water industry we looked at regenerating it but it was not cost effective so it gets landfilled.
    I suppose the pelletized media would be better but still probably not worth the time and effort.
