I have many frags in my tank now... why use a rack?

Does this in anyway improve the frags?

Interested to hear what other have to think about this?

There's only one way that it may increase the health, and that's light. With the rack, it'll get it closer to light, but then again, some of them don't like high amounts of light. The only real use for a frag rack is the added space.

I use one to save real estate. The sand bed was full of all my Xenia frags. Moving them to the rack allowed me to free up space and put a clam on the sand.

They are nice for SPS because you can get your plugs to stay put without having to find holes in the rock or epoxy them down.

For me I use them while getting a piece acclimated to my tank. It's much easier to keep an eye on since it's right next to the glass, and easier to move around for different flow/light needs.

I use them to save space. Soon I will not need them because I have a new frag tank that is not up and running yet.
