    I heard about Anemones splitting but never realized you could frag them by cutting them,has anyone done this if so how long does it take for them to heal,the only way I found out is I came across a YouTube video on it

    I would suggest you do some extensive research on it first, as it does not work for all nems. If you choose the wrong species or don't cut it properly, you can easily lose both frags.

    mini's & mini-maxi's you can frag like that. Are you talking about the butcher knife video? that ones always good for a laugh.

    Yes like mentioned you can do that for all nems though.

    An iodide OD works as well. Stresses the nem out at makes it split.

    But the iodine also can kill tour shrimp y forcing them to molt early...

    People that use this technique have tanks set up specifically for it and they target dose the iodine. Thus allowing an OD to just that animal and nothing else.

    I seen a video where the guy was using a drimel I thought it would burn or scar it,but the original video I came across they used a sm scalpel on a bta
