Who killed sally lightfoot ??

I got a green chromis and a sally lightfoot at the same time and now 4 days later sally is been torn to pieces.
I only have hermit crabs, snails and one green chromis.
Who do you think killed it??

 

are you sure it didn't just molt?

 

I'm not sure, I can't find it and there are 3-4 legs laying around

 

If it's just hollowed-out legs, it probably molted. Wait a couple days. They go into hiding when they molt, like any other crustacean.

 

+1 yea they will hide for a few days while the new (shell) hardens. if anything your sally will be the one to watch they can get real nasty if they dont get enough to eat.

 

Nothing in there could kill a sally light foot. Unless you had a hitch hiking mantis shrimp, stone crab, gorilla crab, etc. It is probably just molting like mentioned before though.
