I like the look of both. I don't have any on my tank yet though. I like the idea of the whie being set to the moon's phases. While the florescoing corals also look cool(no pun intended) under the blues.

I have blue moonlights and most of my corals are fluorescent, so the blue lights really bring out their fluorescence. In a dark room at night, it is mesmerizing to watch and very tranquil.

I have never seen white before, but imagine it wouldn't be as dramatic as watching the blue moons in the dark.

I have blue right now but have a dimmer on my moonlight's and would like to try the white. With a dimmer I think it would be ideal.

Well thanks to kcbrad I couldn't do it without her, considing I got that new white moonlights from her months ago. ;) I think I'm going to add a touch of blue a mix up the color scheme a bit. I like the idea of the mixing timer. I would like to thank everyone for their input on this!!

Here is what white moonlights look like. I tried to get my camera to take night pics without going too bright on taking the pic. It's not as dark as the 1st, but not as bright as the 2nd.

Well I just realized my 36in t5 fixture actually has white and blue covers for the moon lights. I may actually try each for a night. The 220s mh t5 mix has solid blue leds. I voted blue but might change my openion.
