So i have just recently lost a blonde naso tang to what i believe to be Marine Velvet (last night). My bristletooth tang is starting to become affected by it as well. Also, the maroon clown and flasher wrasse seem to be getting white dots on them.
    Parameters are fine.
What do i do to prevent further death's and how can i treat this? It is a reef tank.

I am going through the same thing. I installed a uv sterilizer and running for a week while I have taken all fish out and put in quarantine. Lowered the salinity in the q tank and treating with meds.

If it is truly velvet and not ich, I hate saying this, it is bad. Velvet kills extremely fast and is hard to treat. For prevention, use Marine-Max. Check it out, it's by Tropical Science. A good product.
