White stringy poo.

    What kind of parasite causes white stringy poo or what else would cause this?

    ohh the post title says stingy I was like what are you doing touching it?lol.
    on a serious note are you sure its not snail eggs? I know they are white and stringy.

    ohh..lol . well then I am not sure. Do the fish still look ok? and are they still eating and such?

    No they are dropping like flies. I do know they have velvet and streps have been taken for that issue.

    probably high fiber diet I know it does it to me. :bigcry:

    well I do believe it is a sign of an internal parasite but figuring out which one is the problem.

    well I ment it quite seriously. when I feed natural fibers it seem my fishes poo is stringier. algae and greens seem to do that. I am sorry but was just trying to be helpfull with some fun.

    Diet is mostly the cause Tangs and many other species like puffers when they eat to much meat protein they will have this problem . Get them on a good flake diet and more veggie matter. Also excessve over feeding will do this .
