    hi everybody im new on the forum scence but i have an emergency question about my lipstic tang, i have just introduced it to my aquarium but when i was aclimatizeing him he came out in big white blotches and his forehead went white, will he get better or is this just because he may be unhappy

    Big white splotches does not sound like ich and if they developed that fast I doubt they would be fungus. They do discolor when stressed, esp when acclimating.

    Best way to help you would be if you could post a picture to confirm though

    Please provide an image if possible.

    Tangs can display dramatic coloration difference while acclimating and this is perfectly normal.

    Sounds like a bit of stress from the acclimation. I would just keep an eye on the guy. This is especially true if he looked good when you picked him up.
