I am a little freaked out over what I have been observing over the last week with my open brain coral.
The last two days it has shriveled it's self by mid morning once all the lights have come on, this has happened before no big deal - it seem to go through cycles of being fully inflated to shrinking every so often.

Check these photo's out and you will see my concern.

I first noticed a white lump about three weeks ago - it looked like a cluster of eggs from a snail. I kept an eye on it since it did not seem to bother the coral. About three days latter it vanished. Than early this week it showed up again, than yesterday I noticed about 5 other white masses (look like cluster of eggs) the last two days the feeders come out at night and it will inflate about half it's normal size.

Anyone with insight on this issue would would be a big relief

It is a little tough to get the contrast but here is the best photo close up.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Sure looks a lot like eggs for some sort.

I have never seen pox in lps but I am pretty sure lps are not immune to their very own version of pox. Even grasshoppers, sea lions, dogs have their own version of pox.

    It's a beautiful coral though.

I also thought they might be nudibranch too - but they don't move that I have seen. It seems like they disappear afterr a few days - but I have never seen this many. This coral is my show piece :)

Now I have a yellow canary wrasse that seems to kinda dig under my other brain coral and pick at the skeleton. Maybe eating a pest?

What would lay eggs like that and what type of nudi would eat a lps.

I have not added any corals for over 4 months

All kinds would eat LPS. Now, it could also be the little squiggly guts from damage. I know my acan has some because of this damned sexy shrimp :/
