Do this one, it will handle the demand of the 300g (just gonna take 2 days instead of 1) when your ready to upgrade your tank.

If you want he best that is easily the Spectrapure MaxCap. There is no other filter on the market even close to it at any price. No one else individually hand tests and gauarantees the performance of the RO membrane, uses 0.5 micron absolute rated prefilters and 0.5 micron carbon blocks or hand blends their DI resins for optimum performance.

Can someone explain to me the difference between the SpectraPure MaxCap and ProPlus RO/DI units?? I am just learning all this. I know I need an RO/DI unit, and don't mind the extra $100 if it is worth it.

    Thanks

The MaxCAp system uses TWO stages of DI for lower ultimate cost to produce DI water, the PRO PLUS uses a single stage. The Maxcap uses 0.5 micron pre filtration for longer membrane life, and the PRO plus uses 1 micron. The MaxCap has TWO push to test dual TDS meters to monitor RO and DI performance, the PROPLUS uses a single dual channel TDS to monitor the RO and DI.
You can read about the implications of the alternatives here

    Hope this helps your decision
