I am looking to add more flow to my tank but want to know the best way to go about this, my tank is 4x2x2 and I am looking at either 2 mp20's or 1 mp40, which should I buy for the best flow in my tank?

What kind of corals do you keep? I.e. Do you need a wavemaker?

Mp40. The mp20 is basically flow wise an mp10 and will not make any difference in your tank

This may be unduly harsh on the MP20. I have one and it works quite well. That said, the basic point is sound. The MP40 is the way to go for that size tank. Also, Im not sure they even make the MP20 any more.

They do not make an mp20 anymore. The reason behind what I said is that when the actual outputs were researched by an individual (I forget who wrote the article I read, sorry) the mp20 was.... 100ish gph higher than the mp10. So kinda useless. I had an mp10 on my 75 after I upgraded from my cube tank and it did diddly squat lol. So an mp20 on a 120 will be like a korallia 750. Don't waste the money

Actually the reason They stopped making the mp20 was because of how much the mp10 does gph wise
