    Am gonna buy a water test kit tomorrow, which one of these 3 are the most important,

    1-Calcium.
    2-Magnesium.
    3-Alkalinity.

    If one is all you can swing at a time ? then as Curt mentioned ALK . is the more importiant one to have ..
    But all three will be needed ASAP if you are doing a reef

    ok, i just went out and purchased the Salifert KH/Alk Profi test kit and here are the results, got no idea if these readings are good or bad, so what do you think?

    KH-dKH=8.0

    Alkalinity-meq/L=2.86
