We've just started cycling our new 90g reef tank (added LR 3 days ago). Which tests do I need right away? I was thinking ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, pH & calcium.

Also, in reading the product reviews at marinedepot.com, the Salifert test kits get pretty good reviews. Are they worth the extra $$?

    Thanks!

For now all you need is NH3/4, No2, No3, SG and Po4. Later if you decide to have a reef tank, you need to add Mag, Alk/DKH and Cal. I like Salifert b/c its alot more accurate than just color charts. I use it. Luna
