seems like i cant beat the price with everything it has.
overkill for a 10g? maybe, but when has overkill been a bad thing for a reef tank.

    are the filter medias interchangeable?
like would you be able to use the spectrapure filters in a different brand ro/di unit?
also are there any electrics involved in these things that would get fried by 240v? or are they just plubing?
spectrapure is sounding so good after reading everyones posts that i want to try get one sent over here.
would they be too heavy for international shipping to be realistic?

The filters are all standard 10" size replacements. The membranes will fit if the other unit had a Dow Filmtec 1812 series membrane in it to begin with. Some units are not universal including some Whirlpool, Watts Premier and Sears units. They use a 1810 series membrane which is different and will not seal.

There is no power involved unless you have a booster pump which should be 24v DC. There are different DC power supplies so that is not normally an issue.

All you can do is ask them about the shipping, they have a Sponsors Forum here on 3Reef.
