I've been to all of those places. Beautiful country out there.

If I was going to live by the ocean, I'd prefer to live in/near Cape Hatteras over any other coastal region of the US.

i don't think i could ever live on the beach or on a yaht, as beautiful as the ocean is, i really don't care for it, my thing is the mountain. But what would have the best of both worlds is living in the mountains on lake front property like in Big Bear, but the water has been getting pretty low, which is a sad thing.

I would have to say, anywhere in the US for me pertaining to the availability to corals, fish and equipment at great prices as compared to here in Trinidad. Besides that, I'd definitely have to say any Tropical Island with great reefs in close proximity such as, Fiji, The Bahamas. I would also love to live in Indonesia or Australia for the wildlife.
I have yet to visit any of these places though:-/

Yeah! Washington rocks!! But don't move here...traffic is bad enough! ;)

My dream place to live is right here in Washington, but on one of the San Juan Islands...waterfront!

My other dream places are Sonoma and Mendocino, CA.

The girl and I have been discussing buying a boat for diving around the islands on the north coast of Trinidad ( I would love to live on one of the islands) but if I even look at a boat rocking back and forth in the ocean, I get sea sick.
