Okay, I know don't have polp extension like miss corailline but this is getting crazy. My spongodes and sunset monti were always showing a lot of PE but lately there's nothing. Its got me concerned now. The weird thing is there's no die off and there still growing. Everything except my nems are doing great, maybe its related somehow. The pics I've added are before and after and nothing has changed in the tank. This has been going on for months now. The temp ranges from 81-82 degrees. I have a 48" MH-T5 combo 150x2-54x4 tthat's 8" above the 55 gallon tank.

yo haven't changed flow? or perhaps inadvertently did something to your lighting intensity (perhaps bulbs are getting old?)

perhaps test your ro/di water as well to see if the membranes are still doing their job, though judging from your recent water test results that doesn't seem to be the issue.

How old are bulbs? What fish do you have? Have you always kept the tank that warm? Seems to me a little high in the temp range. I've always kept my tanks around 76.

No changes to flow and was wondering if there's to much light? In the tank currently are a purple tang, flame angel, YW goby, purple fire fish, 2 maroon gold bands mated pair. The tang will be in the 125 next week.

Have you noticed any coral nibbling from the angel or tangs? They can be known to start nibbling out of nowhere. Maybe the clowns are trying to "host" on them?

I would keep an eye on the angel for sure. Have you tried a fan across top of the tank to help push the heat away.

+1. Even if you do not see it nipping.
