Yep I like massive attack as well.
Also, check out Buddha bar and talvin singh. A bit different than most people tastes but they're cool to listen too.

    some of my favs:

    Matthew Good
    Damien Rice
    Ryan Adams
    The Used
    Pete Yorn
    Pearl Jam
John Mayer (as a guitar player)
    Jeff Buckley
    RATM
    Trevor Hall

I play myself, and some of these artists are what shaped my own style.

Right now, my favorite band would be bury your dead. My all time favorite i think would be some good ol metallica or pantera!

the first two are a couple of my favs too.......the new mudvayne album is sick....a little melodic with enough screaming to still be nasty!

crap I forgot to mention classical.....some of the most intense music out there. It, like metal, is smart music. Takes a ton of work and thought to write a metal song. I would say metal is the most technical music next to like I said above, classical

please tell me ur jokin....please! really?? musician?? Ok lets get this straight, rappers are NOT musicians. They take simple beats that they made on a computer and put poetry to them. Now i do like some rap. Not the "i'm rich and i have women" rap but the actually thoughtful type rap. common comes to mind.
