I work in the in-house marketing department of French based gourmet flavorings company as a full time Graphic Designer part-time Web Developer. Basically I'm that guy who makes the advertisement for that coffee or cocktail that you're looking at so appealing you don't care that you spent $7.50 on it. When I'm not working in traditional media, I spend my remaining time maintaining our web sites and web applications to make them attractive, faster, smoother.

there's what I'm good at and then there's what I enjoy. What i enjoy doesn't pay well, so I do what I'm good at - compooter software. But do what I enjoy in my own time... mostly into entomology and forestry.

    very very true.

Well after doing some research, it looks like there's no avoiding the math as long as the major has "Engineering" in front of it. So I'm going to suck it up and see how far I can go, I suppose. ;)

That's funny because I just fininshed my accounting degree at Fresno State. Sure, accounting uses a lot of numbers but the math isn't really all that complex. Some of the financial formula's are somewhat difficult, but overall I would associate accounting more with the understanding of financial law and the recording and analysis of financial information. Calculus and Physics are much more complex than any math you'll find in the accounting field.

Right now I'm working as a consultant for a GE sales agency. I sell low and medium voltage electrical distribution equipment. In addition I'm preparing to take the CPA exam. ;D

Hahaha that is very true...when I started school I was an electrical engineering major. Didn't like the physics/math so I switched into biotechnology...and I love it!! More science, less math!!!

I'm a full time student at RIT and also volunteer/work(ed) as a lowly EMT/flight nurse for Greece volunteer ambulance, Monroe ambulance and mercy flight (not all currently)...AND work at a lovely grocery store called Wegmans.
