The fish is the purple thing in the center of the pic. It was taken head-on.

So the volt meter read .002 vac.

Can I just turn them off[unplug them] or should I to take them out completely?

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Are you going to have enough water movement to keep the O2 levels up if you turn off the power heads ?

She the fish still have the spot between it's eyes ?

It's hard to tell if the 'spot' is still there or not. If it is there, it's small.

Well the fish should be fine than, this system has a HOB filter right ?

I have had dwarf angels before that were extremely shy and it took weeks for them to become comfortable enough to swim in the front of the tank instead of behind the rock work.

yes, a hang on back power filter. it is a tetra Whisper 30. No longer made. I have had the fish for approximately 8 months, so she's certainly not new.

Maybe she needs a new 'hiding place' ? I rearrange the scape a while ago(when I got rock last time). When I did a WC the following week, I took a sculpture/fake cave thing out. Little did I know, that happened to be her home at the time.

That could be the problem. I'd hate to stress her out even more, but could you somehow rearrange the rock to build a cave? Might make her feel more at home. Once she feels secure, she will stay out in the open quite a bit more.

Did you try turning on the air pump again to see if that helped?

She has a cave she goes through in the current aquascape. Maybe I need more rock.

Yes the air pump is on again for surface agitation.
