hmm, maybe a type of cyano? but that would come off easily.

Is it spreading fast, or very slowly?

Well i am not at my dad's all the time since my parents are divorced so i would say it went form small to big in about 7-8 days... but the stuff just looks so un attractive and is on some of the polyps at the bottom of them..

It could be a weird form of algae. I have seen similar stuff grow on tank walls and rocks.

I wouldn't worry about it unless the coral looks to be suffering, or inundated with this stuff.

Well one Polyp died... so i don't know if that matters but i know Algae + Coral = Bleach because the algae attacks them... learned it at camp :D

I have no experience with that coral..but when I see algae growing on something, if I shoot a little extra flow it's way it usually clears it out.

Scape looks great, keep track of the algae, you might try removing it with a toothbrush when you do a water change
