what's up with this?

    I went home this weekend and I found my Toadstool with this.... I am not to worried because I have seen it with a hole multiple times. The only thing that is different this time is that the hole is probably the size of the rim of a soda can and probably as deep as my finger.

    should i be worried?

    im not sure.. I have seen it with a hole before, but it always heals. this time though it has gotten quite big. :-/ ideas?

    Do you have Lugol's Solution or an Iodine based coral dip?

    i do have lugol's solution.. the problem is that this toadstool is probably the size of a basket ball.. ( if not bigger)

    Mine has done the same thing. It seems like it started splitting apart when it got real large. It split at the area that it already had a crease. It freaked out for a while and now its polyps fully extend again.

    Don't worry it will heal after some time.
