    i first noticed these pink rubber looking things and i just left them as is. it kept growing and now its starting to cover the rocks. what are these? are these bad?

    and i noticed that little bug. is he just part of the cleaners?

    First picture is a bristle worm.. not so sure about the second one..

    bristle worms are harmless correct?
    im talking about the entire thing of pink rubber looking things in the 2nd picture

    are these harmless? should it be removed? any benefits?

    Sponges are fine. I'd get that bristle worm outta there though. He looks like a pretty big one.

    harmless and beneficial. they filter the water.

    i have a bunch of bristal worms. whats the best way to remove them?
    any fishes that would eat them?
    i have a clown and firefish as of now in a 55

    Six line wrasses eat them, but I don't bother removing mine they are a beneficial part of your clean up crew! I guess having way to many could be bad.. you get to many by over feeding or having too much left over waste.
