I want to put a small tank in my daughter's house. She has no practical experience in fishkeeping but is willing to learn. I need something that is fairly easy to keep. She wants maybe 3 little fish and maybe a few softies. The tank shouldn't be more than 18" front to rear and 24" wide. Tanks I've been looking at include:
    Oceanic 29g biocube
    22g Cadlights
    24g Aquapod
    24g Nano Cube
    Any ideas out there?

i'd go with the Biocube, i'm extremely staisfied with mine, and the bigger the better, it's larger than the others.

Honestly, why not just get a tank and build your own? JMHO. But I am not a fan of the kit tanks anyways. Way too much money for underpowered equipment.

+500. Something Jason and I have always seen eye to eye on. Much cheaper with better equipement. The most complex thing she will have to master is the skimmer. No big deal.
