Whats going on with my LiveRock!?!?!

I'm starting to realise that my live rock is like making holes or something or following apart is tht natural to happend. and also theres like hair growing on some... but back on to the holes tht are carving its like eating the rock or something i don't know but ik those holes were not there before and the hair was not there too.... the thank been running since Feb 10th. so yea

could some one tell me what is going on with my rocks... thanks so much for reading my post

Wow, I feel like an old dad reading that! The hair is prob algae, maybe GHA? What water are you using?

Who really knows without like pic's, like ya know!lol

 

Well, if the 'hair' is green or red it's just algae. I have NO idea what would be making holes in your rock though, that's just wierd! Mr. Bill is a good one to ask if you can find him on here

 

What kind of rock is it? It sounds like it is dissolving if it is eroding that fast...

 

let me get a picture for u guys but i don't know what kind of water my fish story give it to me.... they asked me what i was gonna do i said reef tank. So they give me like reef salt (already mixed in water) but yeaa i don't know tho.... and hmmmmm some rocks are coral and live rock

 

the LFS sent you home on day one with coral?

 

no i had the coral from my past tank so i upgraded or downgraded or w.e to an oceanic biocube 29 gal. They give me 2 live rock. And i put in 2 coral rocks or w.e.
