what would you do? moon/dusk

    Ok before everyone jumps to led lets discuss. I want a better dawn dusk and or moonlight effect. Right now I open with two ati blue plus. Great coloring, not the greatest pop. Ive scene the ice cap led retro in person. It looks like it would be two bright as well. I was thinking of getting two uvl super actinic (420nm) which if I've heard correctly 420 gives the biggest pop (compared to 460nm) I don't need any extra par or anything so that isn't an issue and I have a 2x39 ballast laying around. Does anyone have any retro fit leds on there tank that is mountable to a hood? I don't want to DIY anything. Ideas?

    That is a good idea. Your actinic choice is the strongest for PAR available. It has about 2/3 the PAR of a blue plus. There are kits available that just need to be mounted. There are a couple of threads here on them.
