What water additives are important to use?

    I would not add iodine unless you test for it. In small amounts it does help inverts and corals, however it is an antibacterial, so if you over do it, you run the risk of killing everything in your tank. The trace amounts of iodine in the salt water should be fine. Regular water should replace what has been used.
