So far? Lighting. I wish I went with a higher quality lighting system first so that I could do more in the tank. As it stands right now I still can't afford the better lighting so I'm sticking to softies.

Right now I have a colony of zoas, two types of mushrooms and a frag of about 20 pulsing xenia living and flourishing under standard fluorescent lighting. 1 bulb of 10,000k and 1 bulb 420nm actinic.

Every coral I have is within 8 inches of the top and they're all doing great so far :) I know it's unorthodox but it's been working for me. Once I can spend the cash on lights I will.

Thinking I would be happy with a BC 29 as my salt water habit...1 year later a 120 gallon tank added and a 250 in the planning stages.....sshh don't tell my wife she thinks 2 tanks will suffice;D
