OK I guess I got sucked up into the story of Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds=LSD. I still don't really like the Beatles :D Sure, I tolerate them in my friend's car when he plays them, but I will never (at the moment) buy or listen to one of the songs on my own free will.

However, I only said MOST Zepellin. Some of their top songs are great. It's the smaller stuff that no one really knows about that gets played on 9 oclock radio that I'm not a big fan of. We put Achilles Last Stand on a history class video if that makes anyone feel better :p

As a former radio DJ, I listen to a ton of different bands and genres.

I will tell you guys the funniest thing regarding my career in music was from a random dude at a party I was DJ'ing at...

"play something GOOD, NOT something you like"

That cracks me up even ten years later, and unless something better comes along, that probably will go on my headstone.

I forgot to mention, I'm very much into Camper Van Beethoven. A rock band with a violinist; gotta love 'em. "Our Beloved Revolutionary Sweetheart" was a spectacular album. They're gone now, but the lead singer was the same guy from that 90's band Cracker. (Or was that an 80's band?)

    Karma to anyone who's a fan. :)

ZachB put this video up a few days ago, and I still find it amazing. I thought this thread would be a great place to put it, because it didn't get the sort of response I'd have expected when Zach put it up.

I still think it's better than either original songs. :D

Haven't heard of them, but like a lot of similar stuff. Nothing goes better with rock than orchestra. I LOVE Siberian Orchestra, it sucks you generally only see them around holidays for whatever reason.

I love every kind of music under the sun with the exception of two.

    1. Country
    2. Opera

I like some Classical music but I dont "own" any.
