I run 220 watts of pc and 220 watts of vho over my 55 gal. That being said I am considering upgrading to mh mostly because I really like the shimmer.

I run 3 96W PCs over my 46 gallon. All of my corals seem to be doing fine so far. With PCs just remember to change the bulbs every 10 months or so. I let one of my bulbs go for a couple YEARS when I only had 1 96W PC. My corals were fine, then suddenly my brain, pagoda, and hammer, which survived a move to and from San Diego, up and died. Now I know its because the bulb utterly lost all of its intensity, even tho it was still bright to MY eyes. I was naive.

See my specs below. But, if you're keeping count, exclude me. I don't have coral. Just one anemone.
