What type of brain coral is this?

    Can anyone tell me what type of brain coral this is. I just bought a 72 gallon tank and it had this and several other corals in it and I'm not sure what type of brain this is. Thanks in advance everyone;D

    I'm not so sure that it's a brain. Does it have a stony base? Can you take a closer pic?

    Looks like a lobophyllia to me. Could also be a scolymia. Tough to tell from that picture. Perhaps some others with flash.

    That looks like Lobophyllia to me too.

    looks to me like a young stage of lobophyllia...possibly a hemprichii
