Do you have any small ornamental shrimp in your tank?

I wouldnt keep him if you are going full reef.. like mission said.. if he is a certain type then he may be okay but why risk it. I would take him out and put him in his own tank.

But on the plus side, they are pretty interesting, apperently they put out more force than a 22 rifle. There some interesting video's of them attacking things, and even breaking glass(maybe your tank one day :O)

You have a mantis. Get another tank and keep it, they're interesting critters. Wouldn't keep it in a reef though.

Well I have one fire shrimp- I had 2 but he died, I thought it was molting but I guess I was wrong-long story but I doubt it was this guy-

This thing cant be more than an inch long and MAYBE 3/8" around.

The rock that he resides in has had 4 corals glued to it now-

I am fairly certain it is a cave type hole-Only one entrance-or exit for that matter.

Is it only shrimp that it would mess with?

These aren't those shrimp that can fly across the tank and break glass are they?
    I forget that shrimps name

You never have seen a flying shrimp??

If I could catch this thing I would show you what a flying shrimp looks like-LOL

This is not going to be easy, maybe I can bait him out-I dont think so, I have tried in a way.

Well thanks everyone I appreciate it.

Time to roll up my sleeves
