    I have had this coral for a while not sure what it really is but recently it has started getting this wierd white crap in the middle of it looks pure white and stringy what is this?? should i take this coral out or???? i dont know what to do

    It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    Need a better image.

    Could be skeleton, could be internal structures (mesenterial filaments) of the coral.

    The Candy cane looks really stressed.

    Its been fine for the longest time hasnt been moved at all or bothered and i think its a lobo coral. Some people on here said candy canes arent brown, but i dont know. and the coral is pretty much fully retracted and that white stuff is just coming out i dont think it is mesenterial filaments because i thought that is only when i coral is to close to another coral and is pretty much attacking it.
