what the Heck is on my rock?????

    Recently noticed that i have a weird whiteish film starting to cover the bottom of A piece of LR. tank has only been up for about 10 days. is this normal. the top side of the rock is growing brown algae but the bottom side has this film/algae looking stuff. White. also the mushroom on that rock is starting to detach (in direct flow though).

    The brown stuff is diatom and yes it is normal

    and the white stuff is algea as well keep a evey on it it will turn brown to this is diatoms as well i had the same stuff when my tank cycled
