72 Gal. Bowfront /21"depth. Looking to upgrade lighting. Looking at the 48" Current USA SunDial T5HO or the 48" Nova Extreme T5HO. One comes with the time clocks included, and with individual reflectors. The other comes with no time clocks and 1 large reflector. Would the light output be the same in these 4 light sets?. I do like the fans going out the back in the SunDial.
Is this enough light for most corals? There is a 6 light and an 8 light product available as well. Each costs more. Will only buy one. Which one is the question.

I have heard the individual reflectors increase light output greatly. I would go with that one

I use separate reflectors. 4 with 39 watt 18k and 2 with 39 watt actinic on 50 gallon. Lots of light but I will be replacing 2 18 k for 10 k. Looking for more light spectrum.

From what I've read, individual reflectors are the way to go. Although I don't see why, I've seen many times "increases in the neighborhood of 300%."

I have the Aquactinics TX5 5-bulb fixture. Individual reflectors. I'm impressed by it. I love the light it throws out.

Would anyone happen to know where to get individual reflectors for the Nova Extremes? Are they available?

I've heard that Nova will be releasing a new line with indvidual reflectors, but what about everyone that already owns the older models?
