Thinking of upgrading the powerheads on my 75 to Vortech's. I used their reef calculator and it appears that two mp10's would work. Just wondering what others thought?

I would recommend 2 MP40's or a MP40 and a MP10 at the minimum. IMO 2 MP10''s won't cut it for your tank. You can always crank them down

I have mp10 on my 30. 2 on 75 would probably work but agree with Newreef I would go mp40's or atleast 1 mp40

Go bigger you can always program them for a little less flow. You'll thank yourself for the times you want to crank it up for detritus removal.

I have a 55 gallon 4 foot tank with one MP 40. I recently added a Karelia to the other side to get some dryer action going it helps a lot. if it was me I would get to mp4 tease and turn them down as suggested above. on my tank I was toying with the idea of an MP 10 on one side and an MP 40 on the other. GMP for DS create a whiter flow pattern and more undertow even when turned down
