i used to use seachem reef salt and liked it except that i have been dosing a lot of calcium, mag and alk.
i just recently switched to their aquavitro line which is salinity and have not been dosing after 3 water changes. i am sticking to salinity.

IO since day one for me...

haven't had any issues with it as long as it's mixed correctly...

I believe that many folks' issues with salts come from incorrectly mixing it. And I also believe that most salts are overrated.

i was using oceanic, which has a really high calcium level. switched to salinity, at first i liked it but i noticed it took a long time to clear after mixing, when i thought it was clear after 24 hours, than when i did the water change it stirred up the white haze on the sides and bottom of the container and made my tank have a white haze in the water and on the glass. this i didnt like. i switched to tropic marin, love it! it mixes clear with in a half hour and never has that white haze, when i add it to my tank i no longer get that cloudy look i was getting with the salinity. tank stays crystal clear as it should. will not be going back to salinity
