what salt do you use

    Table Salt...

    Just Kidding! Usually i get some salt water from my lfs...dont ask what it is. Otherwise i use Tropic Marine. I love the stuff.

    I use Oceanic. Have used it on and off, zero problems. I guess it all depends on you and what you want to introduce in your tank. Some have a lot of trace elements and are good. A lot of folks on 3reef use Instant Ocean brand marine salt. You should research online.

    I use Oceanic due to its higher calcium content and ease of dissolving.

    I use instant ocean. Never had any problems and I get it a great deal.
    Plus I do 30% water changes ever 3 weeks and go through it pretty quickly.

    I Use KENT. I know with the problems as of late. But you know I switched form IO because of problems they had. So I suspect there will be problems with all salt makers at some point and time. So I'm not going to switch just because of 1 little ALK problem

    Seachem is an excellent salt.
