whoohoo! I'm in the category picked the least so far, the kitchen!

I love it there, as a fung shui thing, it's good to have a water element separating the fire element of the kitchen... ;)

Fortunately, I have a very big kitchen, so it's not in the way or near any cooking that's going on...

Living room. When I'm home thats where I spend most the time so I get to enjoy it. Living room is also next to dinning area and the tank can be enjoyed from both rooms.

Finished Basement. Stays fairly cool in the Summer. Solid slab concrete floor with carpet.

    Dining Room.

Fits perfectly, out of the normal walkways, but still in view from the kitchen and living room. Plus, it's nice to look at from the table... which provides perfect seating to just sit and watch :)

Plus, my living room is either windowed wall or fireplace. So it wouldnt go in there well!

Two tanks in living rooms, so I voted for that. One in the from living room, one in the "middle" living room (it's an old house), and one in a spare bedroom turned into a fish room.

I think the main tank needs to be in an area that is used most.
