    in the living room. If they were anywhere else the glass would never get cleaned.

    In the living room for a few different reasons.

    1) Its the only place with enough room really.
    2) It stays clean there.
    3) Visitors get to enjoy it and it starts "that" conversation.. you know the one.
    4) It was easier to plumb through the floor.
    5) It gives me something to watch during commercials and while cooking.

    living room becuase it is the only place in this 100yr old home the floor was already supported from metel braces in the basement and we can enjoy it more

    now that we have more braces I am setting up a 75g in the open space between the dining room and living room. going to be discus again.

    Mines in my dining room/kitchen(where we always hang out). Like everyone to see it. I like getting people into the hobby. Very conveniently the computer is right next to it.

    We kinda have 2 living rooms - it's a split-level house. And since the downstairs living room stays cooler and it's the biggest room of the house, that's where the tank is.

    In the basement in is own room off to the side of the living room. I have a finished basement as my living room and super cold. I have it in it own room SO my wife does not complain about the light and water noise. My little get away.
