Just got my 4 48" bulbs: Giesemann:

    2 X aqua blue, 1 actinic & 1 Pure actinic.

What order from front to back should I use?

55 gal, LPS, softies, clams. Most of LPS and all clams at front of tank on sea bed.

I would go Actinic, AquaBlue, Pure Actinic, Aquablue.

Ok, now what about setting up the photo periods? I have 2 switches that I can utilize to timers, but which lights first then second and for how long a photo period for them?

    Thanks

2in10, why would you go this way? Would I be able to keep some SPS's at higher water column?

PS. I'm going to experiment with Ecosystem's miracle mud with a DIY sump made out of a 10 gal tank. What is your opinion on this?

    Thanks

This will mix the colors better through out the tank. You should be able to keep SPS pretty much where ever you want as long as the are under the reflectors.

I would run the actinics for 10 hours and the whites for 8 hours. The whites would come one 1 hour after the blues and go out 1 hour before the blues.
