I have seen a lot of wonderful and very clear photo's, what kind of camera are you using, and what settings do you set your camera too?

I have a Sony Cyber-shot 7,2 mega pixels, and it take's good picture's, but when i try to take a tank shot, it looks horrible, the lights look dim when there not. is there any way to go about this? or do i need a new camera?

I have the same camera and have the same problem, I only get great pics when I take pictures by putting the camera against the glass. Here is one I took with my camera in that way

I wish I could get an canon eos or a nikon slr camera, but all my money goes to my tank

my pictures come out so dull i don't want to post pics of my tank, it looks nice and clean in person, and on camera it looks like ****...

Change your white balance and it will help.

    I use a Sony Cybershot DSCF717

i have the cannon powershot a590is image stabilizer. I struggle getting good pictures of my reef with this camera. This is by far the best picture i have ever taken with it, and one of my favorites, to bad its just a feather duster. but most of my pics suck, hard to get a nice close up without it being blurry

put your camera on macro if it has that setting. I didnt mess with the white balance or anything else and got awesome pictures.
