I would love to hear your ideas, we are in the process of setting up a holiday gift guide for the coming season and want to know what your idea of a great gift from a family member or friend would be for someone in the hobby anywhere from $1-$200

A complete 500 gallon cube with Radion LEDs, huge Bubble King, 4 MP60s, Sea Swirl returns, Geo 1218 Reactor and CO2 tank... I think that would be an acceptable gift....

    But in all seriousness:
    Digital Thermometers Coralife Digital Thermometer
    Your MR1 Reactor Kit
    Test Kits
    Salt Mix
    Veggie Mag Clip
Hydrometer (I know I want one)
    This one FOR SURE:

    Aquaculture Deluxe Fragging Kit

    - Apex Jr. controller
    - Tunze Osmolator 3155 ATO
    - Vortech MP10esw
    - 90gpd RO/DI unit
    - complete set of Salifert test kits
    - Piranha magnet cleaner

Those are more high-end but they are amazing gifts to any SW hobbyist.

The problem with a lot of reef stuff for presents is unless you are in the hobby yourself, people dont really have a clue what it is that we really want. Even if we specifically tell them "I want a hanna alkalinity reactor" it seems like the non hobbiest still dont quite understand and certainly cant or wont spend 80.00 for something fish related

So I would maybe do gift certificates sale, say......pay 45.00 and get a 50.00 gift certificate. That way, the gift buyers will feel like they are getting a deal and it would allow us to get what it is that we really want. Plus it is a bonus for you because most likely we would spend more than what the certificate is!

Sadly my family refuses to get me any fish related items anymore for birthdays or holidays. I burnt them out when I first started always asking for supplies and now they refuse to buy me any thing else fish related.
