What the heck is going on with my frogspawn? It is receding in an area, and deflated. A second branch is starting to do the same, but the other 2 branches still look great!

    Water
    Alk - 10.9
    Calcium - 380
    Ammonia - 0
    Nitrite - 0
    Nitrate - 3
    Phophate - 0
Iodide - .4 (is this good? should it be higher?)
    Temp 80 F
Salinity is usually 1.026 but my float valve got stuck open for a bit and it went to 1.024.

I did a water change and raised the salinity to 1.025...

Can anyone help me out here??

Thanks....does your's expose the skeleton as well? I don't think it is just disturbed...it has been 2 days, and is looking worse.....

I hope it is just temperamental..but I doubt it....

I would say exposed Skeleton is not a good sign. Could it be because it's facing the other direction as the others. What I mean is is there flow or less flow or light or less light in the other branches.

You could Frag just those to branches then move them to a few different spots. I have seen things recover from Skeleton exposure but you have to make sure Algae and colaline dosen't get a hold first

    Thanks J...

The sick ones are getting more light, but less flow...

I have it on very low flow, just enough to lift the tentacles a little bit. Is that how you have yours?

What additives, if any do you use? I use B-ionic, which is supposed to have strontium and such in it....is that enough?

You know. I used to be MR. Seachem and was on a millitary supliment regiment. But you know it just didn't seem to do it for me. I have a CA reactor and do water changes when I can (no longer than 1 month) The CA Reactor Is driving me nuts I can;t seem to get it dialed it

Try cutting them appart and placeing them in lower light lower flow areas

Will that eat chopped up shrimp like a hammer? [smiley=worried.gif]

I NEED to feed my hammer tomorrow. It looks just a little better than yours Sue.

Since you asked, iodide should be at .6.
