So I have seen these little buggers in my tank @ night and I finally had my phone in my hand when seeing them so I snapped a quick video for you all to see. I don't want to sound like a n00b here but are these pods swimming around?

Really? I thought it was a worm, maybe a larva brittle worm. There were a total of two playing around.

Looks like an epitoke, spawn from bristle worms.

It did resemble a Amphipod because the tail seemed to always be crooked but was too skinny. However I also was able to male out small protrusions along its sides so I am going with a syllid worm epitoke.

See attachment for a detatched rear end of a syllid polychaete epitoke.
