Ihave a magnum 350 canister running carbon in my 75g tank with a sump.not just now i popped the cover off the canister and seen some movement in it.with the flashlight on it i noticed these shrimp or fish like creatures swimming around it.i have no clue what they are but they kinda look like a tiny micro shrim because the tail resembles a shrimp tail or is it baby fish.should i bother to change the carbon or should i do somthing with these little guys.please help me on what they are and what to do with them.

Amphipods, a member of the clean up crew and food for your fish. You can leave them in the filter or dump them into your tank or refuge.

If you can please take a picture of them. Or maybe make a drawing.

Then it probably is amphipods. They aren't typically known to swim, but will do so when disturbed in such a manner.

Shrimp larvae wouldn't typically be seen in a canister swimming around.

im sure there not amphipods.they swim like a fish in that speed but jump back if your trying to catch them.
