What is this white fuzzy balls on my liverock.

    It starts as these little white fuzzy balls and u can see what it turns into on the bottom part of te tonga branch. It's like a stringy algea. And it's clearish white color

    My best guess would be a type of sponge....?

    They're all sponges. You do have more than one type, but all are harmless filter-feeders.

    Pictures 2 and 3 definitely show pineapple sponge. Filter feeders. I have them all over my sump and also a few on my DT.
