What is this?? Sea Hare?

    It is black and white striped and about a inch long, seems to be eating the algae, and only see him at night.. any help on a id for this thing would be great. it has several "polyp" type "things" extruding from its back, some kind of filter feeder? or is it some type of nudibranch? which kind? if it? lol i love new LR.

    the "Polyp type things on it's back would lead me to believe it is a nudi but I'm sorry it's very hard to tell by the pictures.

    Any chance you could get a pic that is not out of focus.

    seahares are about 4 inches for the small ones with what looks like big ears on its head and 2 holes,one in its top back,and one in its butt.oh and it has a round sucker mouth.

    That looks like a stomatella snail or an abalone. Hard to tell from the angle.

    well are stomatella snails really fast? cause thyis thing is like the mclaren F1 of the sea. no really.. if i try to touch it or grab it the thing zooms away....

    i can't beleave i did'nt recognize it.i have stometellas breeding in my tank like crazy.thats what it is.
