Unresolved What is this on my SPS?

    Just noticed these pod like creatures on my SPS, its been getting white tip since about a month ago. Would this be the reason?

    you can clearly see 2 of them at the 0:20 mark (watch in HD)


    edit: looked at the tank again after posting this... there are at least 5 of them on the SPS, some looks like they are feeding on it.

    That is a Amphipods eating dead tissue, looks like alk burns to me.

    How do you decrease alkalinity if it's high?

    When mine was at 14.5 a few weeks back I did a few small water changes and that helped me get back into range.
